Parents & Citizens

On behalf of the Parents and Citizens Association I welcome you to Farmborough Road Public School. I hope you enjoy being part of our fantastic school in any particular role that you wish to play. You will find our school a friendly, well supported school with great teachers and staff, an enthusiastic leading principal to drive us forward, and a great parent and community support network. We have many great facilities and features at the school which help us create a well balanced learning environment.

Our library and computer facilities are second to none with all students having the ability to gain access and learn from a very young age. We have a very enthusiastic librarian maintaining this system and keeping us on the cutting edge.

Our school also excels at sports and active lifestyles for our students, keeping them on the healthy path for life.

Our P&C Association has many members who donate their time and effort in multiple activities. All of these efforts aim at benefiting  our students. We hold regular meetings and organise fundraisers such as Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day Stalls, calendar fundraisers, Art Exhibitions, raffles etc, all of which aim at raising funds to supply extra resources and experiences for our students. The Canteen is run entirely by volunteers, our aim is to keep prices as low as possible and to provide healthy alternatives for our students. The P&C run Uniform Shop opens each Thursday from 8.30-9.15am supplying school uniform needs. We like to pride ourselves on high quality clothing for reasonable prices. We are always looking for volunteers in the Canteen and Uniform Shop.

Again I welcome you to Farmborough Road Public School and remember this is your school now too. I would encourage you to get involved in the school, including our P&C and have a say in you child's school.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
