Farmborough Road Schools as Community Centre (SaCC) works together with families with children aged birth - 8 years, with a focus on the years prior to school. The SaCC aims to build strong relationships between the school and community by supporting parents and children through activities and programs in partnership with local agencies and organisations.
The SaCC delivers a range of programs and services to families each school term including:
- Supported playgroups
- Transition to school, Kindy Starters Playgroup
- Parent workshops and support groups
- Early literacy programs
- Nutrition and child health screenings
- Library
- Information and referral
