Sports Carnivals

Early in the year, students have the opportunity to participate in our swimming, athletics, and cross country carnivals, each offering a unique and exciting sporting experience. Outstanding performers from these carnivals may have the opportunity to represent our school in wider regional and state competitions, proudly showcasing their talents beyond the school community.

Student Enrichment Events

Our school offers a diverse range of student enrichment events designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. These include academic competitions, workshops, and specialised programs that encourage students to extend their learning beyond the classroom. Opportunities such as public speaking contests, debating, Spelling Bee, ICAS testing, and Literacy Luncheons enable students to explore their passions and develop valuable skills. Additionally, students have the chance to showcase their talents through performances in choir and participation in Southern Stars. These enrichment activities not only enhance educational experiences but also foster confidence, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning.

Community Events

Come and be part of a year packed with exciting events at our school. Key highlights feature the festive Easter Hat Parade, engaging Education Week activities, meaningful NAIDOC Week celebrations, the solemn ANZAC Day ceremony, as well as heartfelt Mother's Day and Father's Day gatherings. Be sure to join us for our end-of-year concert, a wonderful occasion where the entire school community unites to celebrate and display their talents.

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

P&C meetings

Join our vibrant P&C. We hold P&C meetings twice each term, usually in Weeks 4 and 8. Meetings take place at Wests Illawarra, starting at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome to come along — it’s a great way to stay informed, share ideas, and get involved in school life. Updated information about meetings is found in the fortnightly school newsletter.

End of year Christmas concert

Our end-of-year Christmas concert is a joyful celebration where students come together within their classes to showcase their talents and festive spirit. This special event provides an opportunity for parents, carers, and the community to enjoy heart warming performances filled with music, dance, and holiday cheer. It’s a wonderful way to mark the end of the school year, bringing everyone together to share in the joy and excitement of the season.
