Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Farmborough Road Public School!
For over sixty years, our school has been a cornerstone of education and community in the local area. Nestled on a spacious and beautiful site, we offer our students ample opportunities to learn, grow, and explore in a natural environment that nurtures curiosity and well-being.
I feel deeply privileged to lead such a vibrant and supportive learning community. Our banner statement, “Inspiring a community of learners,” reflects our commitment to working collaboratively with students, families, and staff to provide the very best educational experiences. Together, we foster an environment where every child is known, valued, and cared for, ensuring that each student can reach their full potential.
At Farmborough Road Public School, we are guided by our school values of Responsibility, Respect, and Safety. As a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school, we encourage students to embody these values across all aspects of school life, promoting a positive, inclusive, and respectful culture.
We also take great pride in acknowledging the rich Aboriginal heritage of our area. Our school is built on Dharawal land, and we are committed to honouring and respecting the customs, culture, and contributions of the Traditional Custodians.
Our dedicated and passionate team of educators continually strive to provide innovative and engaging learning opportunities that cater to the diverse needs of our students. From academic excellence to creative arts, sports, and wellbeing programs, Farmborough Road Public School nurtures the whole child.
We welcome you to our community and look forward to partnering with you in your child’s educational journey. Together, we can inspire a lifelong love of learning and prepare our students for a successful future.
Warm regards,
Michelle Wells, Principal of Farmborough Road Public School
